Deb’s love of adventure, creativity, and the natural world has shaped a life spent exploring some of the planet’s wildest places. A professional photographer and polar guide, she works throughout the Sub-Arctic and Antarctica, sharing unforgettable wildlife and expedition experiences with guests from around the world.
When not guiding in remote regions, Deb can often be found closer to home in Nova Scotia, where she co-owns Expedition Nova Scotia and spends her time on the water driving zodiacs and introducing visitors to the beauty of the province’s rugged coastline.
An accomplished artist as well, Deb enjoys creating watercolours inspired by the landscapes and wildlife she encounters on her travels. She is also passionate about sustainability, transforming discarded fishing gear into unique works of art and practical everyday items.
Whether behind the camera, at the helm of a zodiac, or bringing new life to reclaimed materials, Deb’s enthusiasm for nature, storytelling, and hands-on adventure shines through in everything she does.
