This year's Shunpike is in memory of

Linda Marlene Roe

March 14, 1947 – July 19, 2024

In her artistic endeavours, Linda was naturally talented and creative. Yet, she was always seeking to continue developing her ideas. Whether it was new styles, new media, new techniques, Linda never held anything back. She always wanted to share with others and was an ardent supporter of good causes.

PAULA GRIFFIN

painter

Paula became more captivated with painting as she experimented with colour to interpret her love of nature and the colours that come from within. From the artistic vibe of Nova Scotia, being a naturally creative person, she became inspired to express her ideas on canvas.

LOUANN RANSOM

alternative photo

LouAnn's creative outlet is capturing Nova Scotia's flora with alternative photography processes. Her favourite technique is gelatine-based cyanotype on glass.

RICK WEBBER

stone artist

Rick's stone sculptures are authentic Nova Scotian art handmade from the mighty North Atlantic.
